City of Portland, Oregon, Port Harbor Sea Wall

In September of 2007, the City of Portland, Oregon hired NMGI to image their harbor seawall and create a base line survey for future use in the event the structure under goes an event. The Harbor seawall in located in down town Portland Oregon on the west bank of the Willamette river. The harbor sea wall was built in 1927 and is constructed with wooded timbers. A concrete retaining wall rest on top of the structure. NMGI acoustically image over 5500 feet of Harbor seawall both the vertical and plan views. From this data NMGI was able to mosaic the entire harbor seawall. Below are a few of the images and 3-D images of the harbor seawall.
