Grand Traverse Bay Underwater Preserve, Traverse City, Michigan

NMGI is assisting the Grand Traverse Bay Underwater Preserve in establishing a archaeological and historical record of shipwrecks and artifacts on bottom in both east and west bay. So far we have been able to identify several shipwrecks, horse carriage, geological formations, and the possibility of ancient stone formation.
